Eros, our second Leo, had a nickname, “Sweet boy.” This truly says it all. Eros had a temperament that was laid back, but very sensitive, and so tries to please us whenever he could (unfortunately, this involved quite a bit of “trial and error” on his part) Eros had also attained his UKC championship, and at 17 months was only one major away from his LCA championship. He had a bit of a sense of humor which tended to come out in the ring (usually at my expense), but he was happiest in our swimming pool in the backyard, dog paddling away.
While we took Eros into our home with hopes of a stud career (hence his registered name) it was not to be. We felt Eros’ health, with a mildly dysplastic hip, and his conformation did not quite measure up to the qualities we were looking to breed. All this said, Eros was a wonderful part of our family. His nature was sweet and undemanding. It made him perfect for the Therapy work he performed.
