    Bel is a beautiful girl, balanced and a fluid mover.  At only 13 months old, Bel won a Reserve Best in Show and had completed her championship through the UKC.  We have high hopes for our beautiful Bel.

    Bel’s Pedigree

    Bel is co-owned and lives with another leo female.  She absolutely has a blast with Nick in the show ring.  Bel’s personality is completely happy go-lucky ~ “I love life” is her motto.  She hasn’t met a person or dog she doesn’t like.

    One thing is already for sure, Bel is a wonderful blend of her mother’s happy disposition and her father’s drive to please.  When playing, she has a goofy expression, but also has the ability of many great Leos to look regal and elegant, somehow simultaneously.

    We have completed her health testing.  She had her eyes examined for her CERF clearance at the 2011 LCA National Specialty.  Her testing was clear of eye disease.  Her hips are rated “Good”, elbows and thyroid testing were also normal.  Both of her parents carried two copies of the normal gene for LPN1 disease.  This means it is impossible for Bel to carry the disease.

    Bel has finished in the Top Ten for our breed in the United Kennel Club two years running, 2010 and 2011.

    At the 2011 National, the judge had some comments about Bel:  Two year old large female with enough female expression, well developed and strong in body and bone.  Nice conformation of muzzle and skull, elegant head carriage, nice long neck.  Very good angulation of the shoulder, nice strong back, angulation in stifles and hocks is very good.  Nice long tail.  Moves strong, very good stride.  Powerful.

    Rating:  Excellent
